The product
Trafer meshes, patented in 90th by Ferriere Nord, are a modular electrowelded steel reinforcement, able to allow a reduction of construction time in site, as well as an easy storage and handling.
It consists of open or closed stirrups, welded together with 3 or more longitudinal bars, able to realize a pre-assembled cage.
Together with one or more steel panels, it sets up the designed reinforcement, in an innovative way. Trafer is a new reinforcement system for prefabricated panels.
Trafer wire meshes are not only an alternative to lattice girders and bent meshes supplemented by iron rods, but they also form a new reinforcement system for prefabricated panels, which expands the Pittini Group’s range of structural steel solutions.
